Machinery: The Backbone  of Harvest International Housewares Ltd.

As stated earlier, when our products are manufactured, they undergo a series of processes, such as stamping, welding, bending or plastic injection. Harvest International Housewares boasts a variety of machines that are able to carry out each type of process. We have provided the inventory of the equipment that Harvest has invested in, to prove we are capable to manufacture the products as efficiently as possible.

Metal products

One of the first processes metal will undergo is the activity of stamping. This means that holes will be drilled into the metal. Depending on the size of the metal and the power the machine needs to cut the metal, heavier machinery will be used.

Raw wire is bought in rolled up bathes. Before it is able to undergo further processing, it needs to be cut in to straightened strips of wire. Harvest has such machines.

When raw steel pipes enter our factory, they need to be cut down into the correct size pipes, depending on the type of product. In order to do this, Harvest has a special tube cutting machine.

Thirdly, Harvest owns bending machines in order to bend the heavier kind of metal as a process. The lighter bending will be done by hand.

As stated before, different types of metal and wire will be melted into each other. This process is called welding. Different types of products require different welding processes. Therefore, Harvest has different types of welding machines

Harvest produces a variety of metro-shelving products. These shelving products are adjustable. Harvest has machines that will incorporate grooves into the pipes, in order for the shelves to be able to be adjusted.

When the products are done with the manufacturing, they will acquire a finishing of some sort. The plating of products is outsourced, and Harvest also has 2 different types of machines to finish products

Plastic products

When plastic products are manufactured at Harvest, the raw plastic material is melted down and pressed into a prefabricated mold. This process is called plastic injection. Depending on the size of the product, and thus the size of the mold, harvest has several different machines to make this type of product. We also manufacture products that require a variant of the plastic injection process. In this case, the plastic is blown into the right shape. Harvest has the special equipment to be able to produce this type of products

Besides the process of plastic injection, some products will need additional processing such as bending and wrapping of plastic coating. Harvest has these extra machines, and is therefore capable of meeting these requirements.
